A Shiv Puran Yajna is dedicated to Lord Shiva that involves the recitation and explanation of the Shiv Puran—one of the 18 ancient Puranas in Hindu scriptures—along with sacred fire offerings (yajna)

Discourses and teachings from the Shiv Puran, which contains Lord Shiva’s divine pastimes, creation stories, moral lessons, and guidance for spiritual living.
Hawan Devotees offer ghee, grains, herbs, and other sacred items into a consecrated fire while chanting mantras, especially the Om Namah Shivaya and Mahamrityunjaya Mantra. This is believed to purify the environment and the minds of participants.
Devotional Singing (Bhajans/Kirtan) – Hymns and songs in praise of Lord Shiva are sung to create a deeply spiritual atmosphere.
Spiritual Purpose – The yajna is performed for blessings such as peace, health, prosperity, and removal of obstacles, as well as for spiritual upliftment and liberation (moksha).

In short, a Shiv Puran Yajna is both a reading of sacred stories and a powerful fire ceremony offered to Lord Shiva, combining devotion, knowledge, and purification rituals.
